Meet Odete Pashaie

Beauty has always been my calling.

I was born in Brazil and raised in a diplomatic family. My father worked for the Brazilian Consulate, giving our family the opportunity to live in different countries and experience diverse cultures from an early age. Those experiences shaped the person I am today, teaching me to appreciate different perspectives, embrace individuality, and connect with people from all walks of life.

Education has always been a cornerstone of my family. I went to law school in Brazil before redirecting to follow my heart and pursue a career I had dreamed about since childhood. After moving to the United States in 1999, I continued my education by studying Interior Design at UCLA. Although I loved architecture, design, and fashion, I knew my true passion had always been hairstyling.

I earned my first professional beauty license in 1986 in Montevideo Uruguay, beginning a journey that has now spanned until now. Ever since I was a little girl styling my dolls' hair, I knew I was meant to create beauty. Hair became my canvas, a way to combine artistry, creativity, precision, and human connection.

Today, I am the founder of Brasilian Blow Dry Bar on the iconic Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, where I have proudly welcomed clients for more than 15 years. I specialize in luxury hair extensions and organic Brazilian Blow Dry treatments, creating healthy, beautiful, natural-looking hair while enhancing each client's unique style and confidence.

Living in LA and working in West Hollywood inspires me every day. I could have chosen to build my career anywhere in the city and the world, but West Hollywood has become my home and my happy place. I love its creativity, diversity, and welcoming spirit. I am especially grateful to be part of such an inclusive community and have tremendous admiration for the LGBTQ+ community, whose authenticity, confidence, and individuality continue to inspire me.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with high-profile clients, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and professionals from around the world. Whether someone is in the public eye or visiting my salon for the first time, every client receives the same level of care, discretion, professionalism, and personalized attention. Building genuine, lasting relationships with my clients is one of the greatest joys of my career.

As the daughter of diplomats, I developed a deep appreciation for cultures from around the world. Those experiences taught me to listen with empathy, respect every individual's story, and celebrate the beauty that makes each person unique. I feel incredibly blessed by every client whose path has crossed mine. Each relationship has enriched my life and inspired my work.

Fashion, art, travel, and design continue to influence everything I create. I believe that beautiful hair is more than a style—it is an expression of confidence, identity, and self-love. My mission has always been to help every client leave my chair feeling beautiful, empowered, and completely themselves.

I am proud to be a Brazilian immigrant, a mother, an entrepreneur, and an artist. Every challenge and every opportunity have shaped the woman I am today, and I remain deeply grateful to do what I love every single day.
